Peak Climbing
There are fourteen 8000m mountains on the planet. The Himalayas of Nepal has eight of the highest mountains in the planet out of fourteen. Rest of the five is in Pakistan and one in Tibet, China. Besides these mighty Himalayas, Nepal boasts more than 1913 peaks above 5500 meters. These are mind-blowing numbers for a small country sandwiched between two giant global powers China and India.

Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) was established in 1973 and is non-profit, non-governmental organization and serves as the Nepalese Alpine Club to promote mountain tourism as well as to protect and preserve the culture and heritage of the inhabitants of the region.
