TRIP INFORMATION
Mount Makalu is the 5th highest peak in the world at 8,463m elevation. Mount Makalu is situated in eastern part of Nepal, About 14 miles South-East of Mount Everest.
Mt. Makalu Expedition is known for its adventurous climbing route and requires technical skills to scale this mountain, therefore it is also considered one of the technical and harder mountain to climb over 8,000m peaks because of its steep pitches and sharp-edged ridges.
ITINERARY
Day 01:- Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu (Fixed Departure Date on: 13th, April 2016 from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar)
Day 02:- Briefing at Ministry of Tourism, Kathmandu
Day 03:- Flight from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar and drive to Khadabari 1280 m
Day 04:- Trek to Khadabari and Drive to Num 1560 m
Day 05:- From Num to Sheduwa 1500m
Day 06:- From Sheduwa to Tashi Goun 2100m
Day 07:- From Tashi Goun to Khongma 3760m
Day 08:- From Khongma to Mumbuk 3520m
Day 09:- From Mumbuk to Nebe Kharka 4320 m
Day 10:- From Nehe Kharka to Makalu Base Camp
Day 11:- Rest day at Base Camp
Day 12:- Makalu Base Camp to ABC
Day 13-42:- Climbing Period (29 Days for climbing)
Day 43:- From BC to Merak
Day 44:- From Merak to Mubuk
Day 45:- From Mubuk to Tashi Goun
Day 46:- From Tashi Goun to Num
Day 47:- From Num to Khadbari
Day 48:- From Khadbari to Tumlingtar
Day 49:- Flight from Tumlingtar to Kathmandu
Day 50:- Free Day in Kathmandu
Day 51:- Final Departure
