Lhotse Expedition
Lhotse (8,516 m), the fourth highest mountain in the world, rises immediately beside Mount Everest in the heart of Nepal’s Khumbu region.
Although often overshadowed by Everest, Lhotse is considered one of the most elegant and rewarding 8,000-meter climbs in the Himalayas.
The expedition follows the classic route through Everest Base Camp, crossing the famous Khumbu Icefall, continuing across the vast Western Cwm, and climbing the steep Lhotse Face before reaching the high camp at the South Col.
From there climbers begin their final ascent toward the summit through the narrow Lhotse Couloir.
With its combination of extreme altitude, technical terrain, and the support of experienced Sherpa climbers, the Lhotse Expedition offers a true Himalayan mountaineering challenge for climbers seeking to reach one of the world’s great peaks.
