Manaslu Expedition stands with the world’s 8th highest mountain of the great beauty with its satellite peaks boudha himal and chuli himal. Manaslu is located in Central Nepal, rising 8,163m or 26,758 ft. above sea level, it is the 8th highest mountain in the world.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival and Hotel Transfer in Kathmandu.

Day 02: At leisure in Kathmandu and briefing and Preparing.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Arughat (950m).

Day 04: Trek from Dharapani to Bhimthang (712m).

Day 05: Trek from Sati Khola to Machha Khola (883m).

Day 06: Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat (1,415m).

Day 07: Trek from Jagat to Philim (1,606m).

Day 08: Trek from Philim to Ghap (3.200m).

Day 09: Trek from Ghap to Namrung (2,670m).

Day 10: Trek from Namrung to Shya (3,530m).

Day 11: Trek from Shya to Sama Gaon (3,541m).

Day 12: Acclimatization day at Samagaon (3,541m).

Day 13: Trek from Sama Gaon to Samdo (3,872m).

Day 14: Acclimatization and walk up and down to ABC (4,750m).

Day 15: Final move to ABC for Camping (4,750m).

Day 16-31: Manaslu Summit Climbing Period

Day 32: Return trek to Samagoan from ABC after clean up the Camp.

Day 33: Trek from Sama village to Namrung (2670m

Day 34: Trek from Namrung to Philim village (1606m)

Day 35: Trek Philim Village to Macha khola (1330m

Day 36: Trek from Machakhola, to Soti Khola (1165m

Day 37: Trek from Soti Khola to Arughat (950m)

Day 38: Drive from Arughat to Kathmandu (1350m

Day 39: Free Day in Kathmandu.

Day 40: Depart Kathmandu.

Includes

  • Arrival and Departure: Airport – Hotel transfers – Airport (Pick Up and Drop).
  • Hotel Accommodation in Kathmandu: 4 nights hotel (3 Star Category) in Kathmandu on bed & breakfast Plan- Sharing Twin Bed Room.
  • Permit: Expedition Royalty and permit of Nepal Government to climb Mt. Manaslu, Restricted area Permit, TIMS Card, Conservation area entry permits and fee.
  • Liaison Officer:1 Government Liaison officer with full equipment, salary and accommodation.
  • Garbage Management:Stool Shipment Transfer & Garbage Deposit fees.
  • Insurance:Medical & Emergency rescue Insurance for all involved Nepalese staffs during the trek and expedition.
  • Map:Trekking and climbing map.
  • Member transportation:
    -Land Transportation: Kathmandu – Arughat and returning Arughat – Kathmandu (by Jeep, as per itinerary)
  • Expedition Stuffs Transportation:Necessary all equipment Transportation for all Members and Staffs from Kathmandu to Arughat (by jeep) – Arughat to Sama Gaun (by Heli) and to Base camp (by Porters) – While returning: Base camp to Sama Gaun (by porters) – Sama Gaun to Arughat (by Heli) and Arughat to Kathmandu (by Jeep)
  • Member Luggage:Up to 60 Kg per member for personal baggage during the trek carrying by porters.
  • Food & Lodging: 3 meals a day (BLD; including tea and coffee) along with accessible accommodation at Hotel/Lodge/Tea house/Tent during the trek and Basecamp. Well-managed base camp set up for member & Staffs.
  • Porter:Porter per member up to Base camp from Dharapani & Porters on returning from Base camp to Dharapani.
  • Base Camp Staff:  Experienced and well-trained Base camp Cook & kitchen Helpers as required.
  • Staff Salary and allowance:All Nepalese staffs & porter’s daily wages, salary, equipment, foods & clothing.
  • Base Camp Tent: Each member will have individual Yak Mountain or Kailas tent in Base Camp.
  • Base Camp equipment: At Base camp: foam mattresses and pillow per member, 1 Dinning Tent, 1 Kitchen Tent, 1 Communication tent, 1 Toilet & 1 Shower Tent, 1 Staffs Tent, 1 Tent for Nepalese base camp staffs, Store tents, Tables & chairs & all necessary cooking gears.
  • Heater:Heater for base camp in each Dining and other necessary camp.
  • Solar/Generator/Light:1 Solar panel or Generator for battery charge and light at base camp for use.
  • High Altitude Climbing Sherpa: 1 veteran and Government Licensed Sherpa per member. (1 Member: 1 Sherpa)
  • Climbing Sherpa Salary & Allowance:Climbing Sherpa Salary, Equipment, Food and Clothing.
  • Oxygen Bottle (O2):Summit Oxygen: 2 oxygen bottles (4 ltrs.) for each member and 1 oxygen bottle for each high-altitude Sherpa.
  • Oxygen Mask & Regulator: 1 Set of Summit Oxygen mask and regulator for each member and high-altitude Sherpa, which has to be return after expedition.
  • Back up Oxygen Cylinder, mask and regulator (with appropriate charge).
  • Rope Fixing Team:The team of experienced Sherpas will fix the route on Manaslu (no extra charge will be applied to members).
  • High camp service: High Altitude Tent, Necessary cooking EPI gas, cooking pot for member, High food for member, Sherpa, all climbing and cooking crew. (C1) (C2) (C3) (C4). Group climbing gears, fixed and dynamic rope during the climbing period as required.
  • Internet: Reliable & high-speed Internet access Wi-Fi on payable basis to all climbers on our expedition at basecamp.
  • Satellite Phone for emergency communication carrying by Sherpa, also available for members with appropriate charge.
  • Walkie-Talkie: Walkie –Talkie for communicating from Base Camp to Mountain and Mountain to Base Camp.
  • Permit: Satellite Phone / walkie-talkie permit for all members and staffs.
  • Weather Forecast: Weather forecast report from Meteotest, Bern (Switzerland) during the entire expedition.
  • Comprehensive Medical kit.
  • Certificate:  Manalsu climbing certificate issued by MoCTCA (after climbing Mt. Manaslu successfully).

Excludes

  • Air Fare: International flight airfare (from and to Kathmandu).
  • Nepal entry Visa fee: Nepali Visa fee US$ 60 per person for 30 days (to be applied for 60 days (USD$ 120).
  • Lunch & Dinner: Lunch & dinner in during the stay in Kathmandu (also in case of early return from Trekking / Expedition than the scheduled itinerary).
  • Extra night in Kathmandu: Extra nights’ accommodation in Kathmandu. In case of early arrival or late departure, early return from Trekking / Expedition (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary.
  • Insurance: Travel and high-altitude insurance, accident, Helicopter medical & emergency evacuation. *Mandatory
  • Rescue Evacuation: Medical and emergency rescue evacuation cost if required. (Rescue, Repatriation, Helicopter, Medication, Medical Tests and Hospitalization costs.)
  • Personal Expenses: Telephone Calls, Internet, Toiletries, battery recharge, hot shower, laundry, soft drinks, beers and any Alcoholic beverages (during the trek and in Kathmandu but we will serve all kinds of beverages for members in base camp).
  • Personal Equipment: Clothing, Packing Items or Bags, Personal Medical Kit, Personal Trekking /Climbing Gears.
  • Filming: Special Filming, Camera and Drone permit fee.
  • Toiletries: Soaps, shampoos, toilet and tissue papers, toothpaste, and other items used to keep yourself clean.
  • Internet Service: Not included during the trek and the expedition.
  • Summit Bonus: Summit bonus for climbing Sherpa- Minimum 1200 USD. (For Full Board Service takers).
